Allison Williams

Allison Howell Williams is an American actor and producer. Born on April 13th, 1988. The media have called her"a horror queen" because of her part in horror films. She first became known for the role of Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy-drama show Girls (2012-2017) in which she resulted in an Critics' Choice Award nomination. In 2017, she was nominated in both the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Her role in Get Out, starring Rose Armitage earned her a breakthrough. Her next roles were in film noirs like The Perfection (2018 and M3GAN 2022) that she also produced. Williams was born and was raised in New Canaan, Connecticut, the daughter of former NBC Nightly News anchor and managing editor Brian Williams and TV producer Jane Gillan Stoddard. There is also an older brother. Williams went to New Canaan Country School and Greenwich Academy. She later went on to major in English in Yale University. She was also a member Morse College as well as the St. Elmo Secret Society. Williams worked in an Ralph Lauren Outlet Store in New Canaan. Additionally, she was a member of the comedy group Just Add Water for four years, and was a character on the YouTube series College Musical.
