Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and only of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, as did her mother, who was a homemaker. Michael Dennis Kevin, her twin brothers. McCormick always enjoyed performing, dancing and creating puppet shows. Her rise to fame as a fairytale began when she took home her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest in the age group of 6. This led to an inquiry from an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked if she would like to work in show business. McCormick's first big job was in 1964, when she appeared in a TV commercial for Mattels new Baby Pattaburp doll. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was shortly cast in the musical Wind It Up And It is Broken at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch In 1969 McCormick was selected from a field of 1,200 kids who auditioned for the chance to be the youngest of three towheaded daughters on the new TV comedy The Brady Bunch starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds with the family of a blended couple. This show lasted for five seasons. McCormick wrote in her 2008 book Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she nearly losing her virginity in the fifth season with Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother. The time was when she was 16, and he was 19. The incident would have happened according to her. The timing for our marriage was not right.
