Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 in Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter, and the sole son one of Richard McCormick. Her father taught at school, and her mom was a homemaker. Michael Dennis, Kevin and Dennis are her three older brothers. McCormick began dancing and singing from a young age, and frequently performed show-like puppets in front of the kids in her community. At the age 6years old, she won the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether the actress was interested in a career in show business. McCormick's first job as a professional was in 1964, when she appeared in a television commercial featuring Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another commercial for Mattels Chatty Cathy doll and was soon cast in the play the play Wind It Up And It is Broken on stage at La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick's audition was one of 1200 children to play the oldest towheaded girl in The Brady Bunch.
