Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born on August 5, 1956, in Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home as a mother. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her brothers older than her. McCormick began singing and dancing at an early age and would often perform plays with puppets for the kids in her community. At the age of six, McCormick older, she was crowned the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley pageant. Pat Domigan at Jack Wormser Agency phoned and asked if she'd like to go into the show business. McCormick's first big job was during 1964, when she appeared in a commercial on TV for Mattels baby doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared in the role of Chatty Cathy in a commercial before being cast in Wind It Up And It's Breaks at The La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick auditioned for the part of the eldest daughter of the towheaded trio on The Brady Bunch. The show was a collaboration between Florence Henderson, Robert Reed and a blended family. The show ran for five seasons and the show proved to be a huge great success. McCormick admitted the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity to Barry Williams during the five-year run on the program. He was 19. She was just 16. The two of us could have been in a romance, she said. However, the timing was not right.
