Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter and youngest child of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5, 1956, in Woodland Hills California. The mother of the child was home as a mother. Michael Dennis Kevin, her two brothers older. McCormick was a gifted artist and singer from the age of 6. Her passion was to show puppet shows to entertain her friends. Her fairytale rise to fame began when she was crowned her first Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was six, which prompted a call from talent agent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency who asked whether she wanted to enter the show industry. McCormick got her first big work in 1964, as she acted in a television commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The following year she appeared in another company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was quickly selected for The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick, chosen from more than 1200 auditioning children to play the oldest of three double-headed daughters in The Brady Bunch (1969) with Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The show lasted five seasons. McCormick disclosed in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick was close to losing her Virginity with Barry Williams during the five-year period on the program. The actress was just 16 years old and the actor was aged 19 at the moment. This would have occurred as she describes. However, the timing of our romance wasn't right.
