Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California, youngest daughter and sole child daughter of Richard McCormick. She was raised by a mother who was household worker and father who worked as a teacher. Michael Dennis and Kevin are three of her elder brothers. McCormick began singing and performing in the early years of her life. She was crowned her first contest, the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley Contest at age 6 and was then contacted through Pat Domigan, a talent agent from the Jack Wormser Agency. He was interested in her desire to be a part of the business of show production. McCormick landed her first major task in 1964 when she starred in a television commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she appeared as Chatty Cathy in a commercial and was then cast for the show Wind It Up and It's Breaks at the La Jolla Playhouse. The Brady Bunch McCormick, which was chosen out of 200 auditioned kids, played the third of three head-to-head daughters, in The Brady Bunch (1969), starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed. The five-year run of the show was a great success. McCormick revealed the story Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published in 2008) that McCormick almost lost her virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year period of the show. He was just 19. She was 16. It could have been according to her. But, the time for our marriage was not right.
