Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. She was able to survive with the stipend she received from her students while working part time jobs. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy with her performance compared to that of the other students. She started to think about other options. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. But she quit when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She sang lead in The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. She met Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to release her first solo album Diva. It was released in 1992. Commercially and critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul tracks. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox published Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I'm Letting You go... is the perfect accompaniment to her work of work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is a Scottish musician and political activist. Following a modest success as a member of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, Lennox and co-musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the pop duo Eurythmics during the 80s. Lennox made her debut as a solo artist in 1992 when she released the album of Diva that featured a number of successful songs like Why as well as Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album that features covers of songs such as No More I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself and a compilation. |
